Machine Washable: Our Dreamcatcher electric blankets remote controller and cable is fully detachable, which enables you to easily machine wash your electric blanket at 30 degrees for your convenience. Meaning you can enjoy the clean and fresh electric heated throw’s soft fleece fabric for years to come. (Just make sure to the controller is removed before washing).

Before Use

Inspect for DamageBefore every use, check for frayed fabric, exposed wires, or scorch marks. Discontinue use if you find any damage. 

During Use

  • Do Not Fold or Crease: 

    Never fold or crease the blanket, as this can damage internal wiring and cause overheating. 

  • Avoid Layering: 

    Do not layer the electric blanket with other blankets or heating pads to prevent overheating. 

  • Do Not Tangle: 

    Don't tuck the edges of the blanket under the mattress or into sofa cushions. 

  • Unplug When Not Needed: 

    Unplug the blanket when you aren't using it or before you fall asleep, unless it has a timer for safe all-night use. 

  • Avoid Water: 

    Never use a wet blanket, or a blanket if you are wet, as this increases the risk of electric shock. 

  • Unplug blankets before you go to sleep/bed.

Storage and Replacement

  • Store Safely: Store the blanket flat or rolled to prevent damage to the wires. 

  • Replace Old Blankets: Replace your blanket after 10 years or if you see signs of damage, even if it's old. 

Who to Avoid 

  • Infants and Incapacitated Individuals: Do not use electric blankets on infants or anyone who cannot operate the heating controls.

  • Never use an electric blanket if you have an air flow pressure relief mattress, or use emollient creams.
